SquareHood 49mm Haze Filter - 10%

Shot a few test frames in harsh midday sun and the bloom on highlights is just right — dreamy without washing out the whole scene. The glass feels solid and the low profile doesn't add bulk to my setup. Exactly what I wanted for softening skin tones in portraits.

I was worried 10% would be too subtle, but it takes just enough edge off skin tones without making everything look dreamy. The Japanese glass is genuinely sharp, and paired with my hood there's zero extra vignetting.

Slid this 10% haze filter into my lens hood and the highlight rolloff is exactly the soft glow I wanted without killing contrast. The low profile build means it stacks with my other filters without any vignetting.
